| Background |
Since 1946, Hugo Ceusters has specialized in property consultancy. It offers expert knowledge about all aspects of real estate connected to management, rental and sale of offices, industrial buildings, commercial premises, shopping centers and land.
Problem
The Real Estate Services department manages an extensive portfolio across Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia. The properties are owned by different, usually institutional, investors. The portfolio under management comprises 527.000 square meters and leasing revenues of € 65.000.000
The financial management of these extensive portfolios is a challenge and requires a full-fledged ERP Solution.

| Solution |
The solution addresses all financial aspects of the customer’s business domain. It provides basic management services for different actors, like landlords, tenants, portfolio manager, and building facility mangers. The system also manages all owned properties including buildings, sections, and units. It also manages different agreement types, like rental agreements, service agreements. Additionally, at the core of the system, all charges, costs and invoices related to those agreements are controlled. Integration with the current accounting system (Wings) shall also be provided.
The design provides a highly user-friendly interface with wide variety of reports and dashboard screens that enable the end-users to accomplish their job efficiently.

| Technology |
The solution is done based on the latest .NET technology, Microsoft .NET framework 3.5, and one centralized SQL Server 2005. Also, Microsoft Composite Application Block is used to provide highly user-interactive components. Using the latest technologies ensures top-performing and highly-available application with minimal maintenance effort.

The CAS process in-place combines the benefits of CMMI, Agile development, and Scrum.
The customer is highly involved with the team benefiting from the excellent communication infrastructure with the near-shore team. The final result is meeting customer’s expectations.
