A-Server took the decision to rely on Thebe Technology to expand its team, both in Software Development and in System Engineering.
Thebe Technology satisfied A-Server's expectations by building a team of highly skilled Open Source technologies software engineers experienced in Software Design and Architecture, Java Enterprise systems, Open Source network management and monitoring frameworks, alongside first class system engineers, experienced with Linux, Solaris and storage systems.
Thebe Technology maintains two open source projects:
- pymonkey www.pymonkey.org; a rich, python powered administrator shell packed with all tool a system admin requires to manage a network system --or even a cloud computing deployment.
- Openvapps www.openvapps.org; a repository of prepackaged software along with
management utilities and advanced dependency management architecture.
Moreover A-Server entrusted Thebe to develop major parts of its core product in the form of various tools for automated network configuration, real time infrastructure monitoring and application virtualization system drivers.
Thebe also developed systems and integration components to enable true business process automation within A-Server.
Thebe Technology thus customized and implemented an open source ERP system, based on OpenERP for inventory management and order tracking, maintained and customized an open source CRM system – vTiger – for support tickets and sales force automation.
Thebe Technology also developed integration modules between A-Server’s internal portal, CMS and Project Management subsystems.
